How can I save the most money?

The best savings can be had if you book the hotel as early as possible. You can often save up to 40% off the official rates if you book many months in advance. We recommend you book as soon as you know your travel dates, remember if the booking offers free cancellation you can always cancel if your plans change without it costing you a cent.

What is the easiest way to find hotels that match my needs?

Once you have searched for your hotel you can use the filters section to narrow your hotel search. Use the Price range filter to show you hotel offers within your budget, remember that the price shown is the total price for all rooms and nights including tax. Another useful filter is Landmarks, if you click on a landmark we will rearrange the list of hotels to show you the closest hotels first. What is book now, pay later and how does it work? Our system allows you to book a hotel without making any prepayment allowing you to book early and lock in early booking savings. All book now pay later bookings have a payment due date and you must ensure that full payment is made before this date. Can our employees stay at a hotel without having to pay and claim the cost back? Yes of course, this is one of the strengths of our system. You can book the hotel for your employees, on arrival they simply present the prepaid booking voucher. It´s quick to check in and the employee does not need to pay for the hotel and then claim it back saving the employee and your accounting department extra work. Normally the employee will be required to present a creditcard to cover any optional incidentals like mini bar or room service, however the cost of the room is paid. As an added benefit you are in complete control of your hotel booking costs. How do I pay later for a hotel booking? Once logged into your member area you go to “My bookings”, find the booking you need to make payment for and click the green “I would like to pay now button”. This will open up the payment section where you can pay with Paypal or your Visa or Mastercard credit / debit card or American Express card. As soon as the payment is successfully processed the booking status will change to "Booking confirmed / paid" and we will also send you a payment confirmation email. If you have any problems paying by creditcard / debitcard or Paypal please contact us and we can assist you by giving you bank details where you can transfer the payment. How do I cancel a booking? You need to go to "My Bookings" and find the booking you would like to cancel. On the page of the booking you wish to cancel you will find a red "Cancel booking" button. You click this button and our system will ask you to confirm. If you agree our system will send a cancellation request and send you an email to confirm. Once a cancellation is confirmed the status will change to Booking cancelled and there will be a tracking id number shown, you will also get an email to confirm the cancellation. If you do not get an email, the status does not change or you do not see the tracking id number then the booking isn´t cancelled and you should either try again or contact us for assistance What is a non refundable / non cancellable room type? These room types have to be paid at the time of booking and cannot be cancelled. They are normally lower in cost compared to cancellable room types and are a good option if you are 100% sure you will not need to cancel. If you book this room type and have to cancel you will lose the full amount paid. You should only book this type of room if you are sure of your plans and don´t expect the need to cancellation Can I see available hotels on a map? Yes, if you click the “map view” tab you will be able to see all hotels on a map and then use the filters to narrow down the search to find the right hotel for you. If you are planning to visit a particular place or business use the "Find hotels close to where you need to be.." feature to show any place or address on the map. You can then easily see which are the closest hotels What do I or employeees present to the hotel to show my booking? Once your booking is paid you will see a button at the bottom of your booking page which takes you to the booking voucher page. You can print or save the voucher as a PDF. You must print and take this prepaid booking voucher to the hotel and present it to the reception desk at check in time. This voucher contains all the relevant information and also confirms to the hotel that you have already paid for the bookings Can I get an invoice / receipt for my booking? Yes, once your booking is paid a button will appear at the bottom of your booking page found in the “My bookings” page that will present you with a payment receipt that you can view or download as a PDF. Are taxes included? Yes, the price includes sales taxes except for any city or resort taxes that you may have to pay at the hotel. Details of any additional taxes may appear on your booking voucher. Is it possible to get a VAT receipt for my booking showing the VAT amount? No, the price paid includes any VAT / sales taxes but these are not accounted for individually, they are part of the total amount paid. How can I add my company address so it shows on the payment receipt? It´s really easy, just go to your Profile page, on the profile page you can add and change your address. Once you have added your address information press the update button and that´s it. If you now open your payment receipt it will show the address. Is my data secure? We take your security very seriously, we do not store any creditcard details on our server so even in the unlikely event of a hacking it would not be possible to get your creditcard details as we do not ever see or store them. In addition our system is encrypted with an SSL certificate to encrypt all communication passing over the internet. Does The Executive Travellers Club share or sell my personal details? Never, we take your privacy seriously and only share details required for processing your hotel bookings which is usually only the guest names and nationality of the main guest, we will never share your personal details with 3rd parties without your permission. Can I cancel my membership and if so how? We would be sorry to see you go but If you no longer need membership simply send us a message requesting the cancellation of your membership account. We will delete your account for you, there is no cost for this. Please keep in mind that cancelling your membership will remove all data related to your membership account including details of bookings you have made and related payment receipts. Can I recommend or offer membership to friends, family members, business associates and colleagues? Yes of course, as one of our valued club members you can pass on an invitation code to friends, family members or colleagues that you think could benefit from Executive Travellers Club membership. Simply send them a link to the register page at etcbt.com and give them the invitation code EM2106. This code will get them instantly approved and they too can take advantage of the great offers. Does The Executive Travellers Club charge booking fees? No, we do not charge any booking fees and there are no hidden fees. How can I contact The Executive Travellers Club? If live chat is available you will see a dark grey tab on the right side of your screen with the text "Online". If you click the tab you will be able to start a live chat with us and we will be able to assist you right away Is there a telephone number I can use to contact The Executive Travellers Club? In order to keep our hotel prices as low as possible for our members we do not operate a telephone based customer service centre. We do however offer free email based support 7 days a week, 365 days a year and also live chat during normal European office hours. If you need emergency assistance at check in time you will find emergency telephone numbers on your booking voucher. Can I contact the CEO directly? Not at all, membership will continue as before, we will be observing any changes that take place as a result of Brexit and we will adopt our business as required to ensure that our members in and outside the UK can continue to enjoy their membership with us.
